Example of autonomous transit for Atlanta's downtown, with grade separation
Midtown Manhattan is hardly bigger than one square mile. Atlanta's new autonomous central business district----safe autonomous transit routes grade separated at 120 miles per hour (in black)----could be more than one hundred square miles----but where to put its borders (in orange)? If nearly all transit eventually occurs in a grade-structured grid, which of the hundreds of current streets should be turned into linear parks (in yellow) like Atlanta's Beltline?
